This book is a awesome resource for professionals who perform with you children identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Sensory Processing Disorder. The author describes her orientation to operating with young children devoid of focusing on the "disorders". I read the book as a former children's developmental intervention system coordinator and social worker. Ms. Sher's approach shares social perform values of a strengths perspective and person-in-environment strategy.
